Mississippi State softball looks to keep postseason hopes alive
Well, last night didn’t go according to plan. The Mississippi State softball team just couldn’t get past the North Dakota State Bison, falling last night despite an impressive comeback attempt. The Bulldogs actually in the game for a little while last night, but Mississippi State couldn’t overcome North Dakota State and fell by one run.
Now, Vann Stuedeman and the Mississippi State softball team is fighting for a chance to continue on in postseason play. The Bulldogs are in the double elimination round of the NCAA Tournament and they can not afford to take one more loss.
So, tonight’s game against the St. Francis Red Flash is of incredible importance. Mississippi State absolutely must win tonight if they are to continue playing in the NCAA Tournament. Otherwise, Mississippi State comes home after a solid season with a disappointing finish.

Mississippi State still has a reason to be hopeful, but the Bulldogs have to win.
