What to Wear to Mississippi State Football Home Games in 2016
The Mississippi State football team released their poster schedule, and with it, the colors Bulldog fans are supposed to wear to home games this season.
One of the things a lot of fans look forward to each season is the poster schedule the Mississippi State Football team puts out every year like most schools. One of the things listed on it is what colors the school wants you to wear to this year’s home games at Davis Wade Stadium.

The poster was revealed, and so is the color coordinated attire the school is requesting fans to wear. It’s kinda hard to see, but here is the tweet with the announcement if you missed it.
If you don’t want to try to zoom in and make out what each game is requesting, I’ll break it down for you.
Game 1 vs. South Alabama
Wear White
Good call by the Mississippi State football marketing team here. This game is slated for an 11:00 a.m. start on Labor Day Weekend. It’s going to be hot, so white is what you want to be wearing.
Game 2 vs. South Carolina
Lower Deck, Wear Maroon. Upper Deck, Wear White
This game is a 6:00 p.m. start, so the people in the upper deck won’t have to suffer too much if they choose to go along with the Mississippi State football marketing team to wear maroon. Lower deck is supposed to wear white again.
Game 3 vs. Auburn
Wear Maroon
It’s a True Maroon game, so find your best maroon duds and head to the stadium to watch the Bulldogs pound Auburn for hopefully the third consecutive season.

Game 4 vs. Samford
Stripe Out
This year’s Mississippi State football Homecoming Game will be a stripe out. It’s the always bold plan to try to get each section of the stadium to wear either maroon or white. What you’re supposed to wear will be on your ticket to let you know. This has gone over with very mixed results in the past.
Game 5 vs. Texas A&M
Wear Black
It looks like MSU is going to get everyone to wear black for a likely black out game against the Texas A&M Aggies. This means the Mississippi State football team will be in black as well, so go ahead and start complaining now.
Game 6 vs. Arkansas
Wear Maroon
The Bulldogs will finish off the season with another True Maroon game against the Arkansas Razorbacks. It’s a good way to end the season before the team travels to Oxford for the Egg Bowl.
