We’re on to Week 4 of the 2023 college football season. There’s an absolutely loaded slate of games this weekend, so what are some good matchups flying under the radar?

Something you’ll regularly hear from college football fans is that the weeks where you don’t think there are good matchups are precisely when you get some of the craziest games. Week 3 was certainly lacking of the clearly enticing games.

So did it live up to the old adage?

Eh, kinda.

There were certainly a few exciting games, most notably an incredible late night rivalry battle between Deion Sanders’ Colorado squad and the Colorado State Rams. Missouri and Kansas State ended on a 61-yard field goal. Florida State had to survive against an energized Boston College team. BYU and Arkansas played a back and forth affair in Fayetteville.

But outside of that, much of the day’s attention came with the likes Alabama, Texas, and Georgia struggling with outmatched opponents. There wasn’t the non-stop, thrilling action that you hope for out of a college football Saturday.

That should change this weekend. The slate of games is completely loaded. Florida State at Clemson. Colorado at Oregon. Ole Miss at Alabama. Ohio State at Notre Dame. And those are just a few of the incredible games.

There are some really fun matchups that aren’t going to get much attention on Saturday, too. But that’s why I’m here to make you aware. Here are three under the radar college football games to watch for Week 4.
