Mississippi State football is fast approaching so let’s have some fun as we try to count down the final few weeks.
Today marks my return to Maroon and White Nation. I joined Maroon and White Nation in October of the 2013 football season. I stayed here until August 1st of the 2016 season. It was at that time I was asked by Ethan Lee to join For Whom the Cowbell Tolls right before the beginning of the Mississippi State football season.

Now, you may be thinking what is the point in comparing Mississippi State football players to sandwiches. The point is there is still a month until the start of the football season, and outside the fact that Mississippi State has a new football coach, there isn’t much to talk about.
The other point which might be most important here is the fact that I love sandwiches. I also love Mississippi State football. So why not combine two things that I love and write about them at the same time.
So without further adieu, I present to you the quintessential list of Mississippi State football players and the sandwiches which symbolize them. Feel free to state your case on why players might be better represented by other sandwiches, just know that you would be wrong.
