The University of Arkansas and the University of Texas used to play pretty regularly as rivals in the Southwest Conference. Now, they have to wait for possible matchups as out of conference opponents. But that’s what we’ve got right here.
The UT Longhorns and the Arkansas Razorbacks are getting a chance to face each other again.
The Longhorns and Razorbacks have both had pretty good seasons. Both Texas and Arkansas got to host regionals at home and also welcomed Super Regionals to their home turfs. In the Austin Super Regional, Texas took down a phenomenal Tennessee Tech team. Over in Fayetteville, the Razorbacks thumped South Carolina. Now, both teams are in Omaha.
