Earlier this season, the Mississippi State baseball team was swept by the Vanderbilt Commodores.  Vandy absolutely had Mississippi State’s number, beating the Bulldogs down in almost every way possible. Vanderbilt shut MSU out in game one, blew the Bulldogs out 10-1 in game two, and then beat State in a one run game in game three.

Now, both teams are here to play each other again. The Bulldogs have a chance to get revenge for that series earlier this season. MSU is a completely different team at this point and legitimately can win this weekend. Mississippi State will just need to play to the top of its capabilities this weekend.
