Mississippi State baseball and Oklahoma to battle for the Tallahassee Regional
It feels like the Mississippi State baseball team is pretty familiar with the Oklahoma Sooners at this point. Right now, in this moment, Mississippi State has plenty of experience facing their counterparts from Norman, Oklahoma.
The Sooners and Bulldogs have met twice this past weekend. Both games were rather slow and were fairly lengthy games. The first matchup featured a total of 30 runs scored. The second game had 18 runs scored.
Both were undeniably blowouts. And now these two teams will meet one more time. This game is for the Tallahassee Regional championship.

This Mississippi State baseball team has been incredible when under duress. The Bulldogs have won a multitude of games that they probably shouldn’t have, but they did it anyway. And now MSU is here with a shot to go on to a Super Regional.
Next: MSU and OU Part Three: Winner Takes The Tallahassee Regional
Al the Mississippi State Bulldogs have to do at this point is to overcome the Oklahoma Sooners. That’s easier said than done, but that’s all that’s ahead of them. MSU just needs to beat OU. After that, the Bulldogs make it into the Super Regionals and are one step closer to making it to Omaha. Not bad for a team without a head coach.
