Mississippi State and Georgia’s game one start time has been moved up from the original 6 p.m. time to noon central time tomorrow.

The SEC leading Mississippi State Bulldogs (32-17, 16-8) travel to Athens to take on the Georgia Bulldogs (20-29, 7-17) in a three game weekend series that will play a critical role in determining the SEC title race. This weekend will be the final road series of the regular season for the Bulldogs wearing Maroon.

The series was set to begin at 6 p.m. on Friday evening; however, the game time has been pushed up to begin during your lunch break tomorrow. Per HailState.com, the potential inclement weather is the cause for the new game time:

"“The series will open on Friday at noon CT on SEC Network+, which can be viewed through WatchESPN.com and the Watch ESPN app, the game was previously scheduled for 6 p.m. as rain in the evening forecast forced a schedule change. SEC Network will be the place to watch Saturday’s 3 p.m. CT game. Sunday’s (Noon CT) game will also air through SEC Network+.”"

Mississippi State is coming off a huge road series win over the Texas A&M Aggies, and the Bulldogs are currently in the thick of things to defend their 2016 SEC crown.

Georgia, meanwhile, has struggled much of this season but stole 2 of 3 games against top ten ranked Kentucky last weekend. Georgia is looking to spoil Mississippi State’s hopes to repeat in the conference, so Cannizaro must have his team ready.
