The Mississippi State baseball team collected quite a few honors on the All-SEC team announced earlier today.
It’s been a big day for the Mississippi State Baseball team. The All-SEC teams were announced by the league office today.

Most notably for the Bulldogs were the two awards won by Jake Mangum and John Cohen. Mangum, who had just been named the winner of the Ferriss Trophy, was named the Freshman of the Year. John Cohen was named Coach of the Year after leading the Bulldogs from a worst to first finish.
Jake Mangum was one of four Mississippi State baseball players to be named 1st Team All-SEC. Joining him were First Baseman Nathaniel Lowe, Designated Hitter/ Utility Player Jack Kruger, and Starting pitcher Dakota Hudson.
There was only one Mississippi State baseball player to make it to the second team. That was Designated Hitter/ Utility Player Brent Rooker.
