SEC Football: The Arkansas Razorbacks have come to getting wins close multiple times this year. So far, they have only come out on top once. Can they beat Tulsa here?
Year one for Chad Morris and the Arkansas Razorbacks hasn’t been all that great, but that’s really not all that surprising. In the first year of the post-Bret Bielema era, the Arkansas Razorbacks are riding a six game losing streak and have no hopes of making it to a bowl game. But that’s not shocking news.
Everyone knew coming into the year that Arkansas would struggle. Morris is working to completely rebuild the Razorbacks’ program and he’s having to utilize a roster that isn’t necessarily compatible with the offense that he wants his team to run.
But the Razorbacks have shown some promise and they do have some potential. In the past three weeks, Arkansas played Texas A&M, Alabama, and Ole Miss better than many would have thought possible. The Razorbacks only lost to A&M by a touchdown, scored 31 points on Alabama, and then came close to taking down a surprising Ole Miss team.

How To Keep Up With This SEC Football Game
Why does this SEC football game matter for Mississippi State football fans?
Well, it’d look good for Mississippi State later this season if the Arkansas Razorbacks at least had a few wins. This game doesn’t necessarily have a lot to offer MSU in terms of stakes and there’s no real consequence for the SEC West as a whole if Arkansas wins or loses.
In all honesty, this game doesn’t necessarily matter at all.
But, when the Bulldogs face Arkansas, it would be better for MSU if the Razorbacks had a few more wins to their record than what they currently do.
