How does the Mississippi State football team look right now?

After last night’s game, if you don’t think the Bulldogs are looking pretty impressive, you need to reevaluate something. The Mississippi State football team came away from last night’s dominant win with plenty of momentum moving forward into the Bulldogs’ next game against Kansas State at their place.

The offense is absolutely a beautiful thing to watch right now. It’ll be interesting to see Nick Fitzgerald step back into the starting role and see how he does in what is a more challenging season opener for him next week against the Wildcats. But, the rest of the offense is built to compliment his skillsets and utilize Fitzgerald’s abilities in a dynamic attack. That’ll be fun to watch.

On defense, MSU did show a couple of weak moments last night against the pass, but Stephen F. Austin never scored a touchdown and they couldn’t even get over 200 yards passing. All things considered, Mississippi State looked really good on both sides of the ball.
