Watch the 8th game of the 2018 College World Series right here as Texas Tech and Arkansas battle each other

The Texas Tech Red Raiders and the University of Arkansas Razorbacks are both riding some solid momentum after success in the opening round up in Omaha. Now, both are looking to hop in the driver’s seat out the College World Series with a win today, just as the Mississippi State Bulldogs did earlier.

The winner between Texas Tech and Arkansas will play again on Friday. The loser, on the other hand, gets to play on Thursday in an elimination game against the winner of the elimination game featuring Florida and Texas.

A win means extra rest at a time when every team is just about out of gas. It also means that you’re set up with a great opportunity to advance on to the College World Series Finals.

There’s a lot on the line at this point in the college baseball season. As Florida and Texas get finished up, that means that only six teams will remain active once Arkansas and Texas Tech play their game.

There’s only a handful of teams left, and more will be eliminated soon. Both the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Texas Tech Red Raiders have national title aspirations. A win today would help either of these teams get much closer to realizing them.
