Mia Davidson Winning The SEC Freshman Of The Year

The Mississippi State Bulldogs have an incredibly bright future as long as Mia Davidson is in Starkville. Davidson, as a freshman, set an individual single-season record at Mississippi State for home runs with 19. Those 19 home runs helped the Bulldogs set a new single-season home run record as a team.

And, beyond all that, Davidson has shown that she can compete with the best in the Southeastern Conference. Her freshman season was incredible and carried MSU offensively. Because of the threat that Davidson represented at the plate, opposing pitchers did what they could to avoid pitching to her.

Expect big things from Davidson in the future. What she can do for the Bulldogs at the plate will help transform this team and improve it moving forward.
