Mississippi State Softball Set A New  Home Run Record in 2018

And, well, just as Mia Davidson set a new single season home run record for Mississippi State, the entire team did that this year as well. As it turns out, this is a record that falls within the same category, though it’s got slightly different parameters.

Mia Davidson set a single season record for home runs as an individual player. And that’s huge, but it’s already been discussed a bit. As it turns out, the entire Mississippi State softball team set a new record for home runs in a single season.

With Mia Davidson leading the way, the Bulldogs hit 55 home runs this season. Davidson had 19 home runs this year, also a record. Behind her came Morgan Bell with a total of 10 homers this season.
