The Mississippi State Bulldogs could, in theory win this. Mississippi State softball is tough to play in Nusz Park and, well, anything can happen during any given game. But, Florida is a top 10 team for good reason.

This series will be a good test for the Bulldog softball team. Mississippi State came close to claiming a couple of series earlier this season against top SEC teams but couldn’t hold on and get the win.

MSU has come pretty far since those games. If Mississippi State can take two this weekend, it’ll help the Bulldogs with their postseason aspirations. MSU should be able to get a decent spot in the NCAA tournament, but the Bulldogs want plenty of national recognition heading into the home stretch of the season.
