The SEC Network is allowing each school to Take Over the Network for a day again in 2016, and the Mississippi State Bulldogs will have a day in late July.

During the summer of 2015, the SEC Network allowed each school to select the programming that was played for an entire day. It was a nice day for fans of each school to have an entire day to relive some of their team’s favorite moments.

The SEC is doing the same thing again this year. They announced yesterday when each team will be choosing the programming to air in July.

The event will take place over a two week period the last two weeks in July. The Mississippi State Bulldogs will have July 27th as their day to pick the programming.

In 2015, the three things that were the focal point of the Mississippi State Bulldogs selection were the three big wins which helped propel the Bulldogs to number one in the country. While there won’t be the same type of huge games this time around, there are some obvious moments I am sure the athletic department will feature.

More from Maroon and White Nation

There are only two football games I can think of that will probably be shown. The Mississippi State Bulldogs trip to Fayetteville and the 51-50 win over the Razorbacks is a lock. They would possibly choose the win over Auburn. And because it was Dak Prescott’s last game as a Bulldog, expect the Belk Bowl to be replayed as well.

While the Men’s basketball team didn’t have a stellar season, there were some fun games to replay. The trouncing of the Razorbacks in Starkville comes to mind, and the huge comeback capped off with the game winning three pointer by Quinndary Weatherspoon over Vanderbilt will also be considered. The Women’s team win to put them in the Sweet 16, bad acoustics and all, over Michigan State might be considered as well.

In baseball, there are a number of games the school might consider. Any of the wins over Oregon, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Florida, and LSU are fond memories for fans of the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

There are two off the field programs the school might want to use. SEC now was in Starkville before the Alabama game, and it could be replayed. The documentary Thunder and Lightning about Palmeiro and Clark could be on the schedule as well.

The only thing I can be certain of is if you are a fan of the Mississippi State Bulldogs, you can’t get enough of your team. And on July 27th, you’ll get you fair share and then some.
