The Bully Bark Line is an hour long radio show hosted by co-editor of MaroonAndWhiteNation.com Justin Strawn. Each week, he interviews various personalities from the media and school to give you perspective on the state of Athletics at Mississippi State.

On this week’s Bully Bark Line, we changed things up just a little bit. The good folks at Magnolia Inn and Suites in Olive Branch offered up their hotel lobby to us for a chance to do some filimg of the show and put it on YouTube.

More bulldogs: Evaluating Scott Stricklin's Tenure as Athletic Director

In the first segment of the show, we focused on another big weekend sweep by the Mississippi State Baseball team. The Bulldogs scored 30 runs in the three games and hit seven home runs in the process

Next, I turned my attention to Mississippi State baseball coach John Cohen. For a guy many had lost faith in after the 2015 season, he has turned this team around and put the team in the think of the National Championship conversation

In the second half of the show, I started off with my producer and owner of CRM sports. He told us what it was like from his perspective of the Bully Bark Line, and what it is like to run a sports radio network that covers so many teams.

More from Maroon and White Nation

I followed that up with a discussion on how Mississippi State baseball fans need to pull for Ole Miss this weekend. The Bulldogs are in a first place tie with Texas A&M, but we don’t own the tie-breaker, so hopefully this is a time when the Rebels can help us out.

I took a break from all the Mississippi State baseball talk and covered some of the conversation surrounding Malik Newman. Newman has a difficult choice to make about his future, and it will be interesting to see what he decides.

I recapped the show at the end, and I covered the pet peeve of the week. My pet peeve for this week has to do with food snobs. Let people enjoy food however they like it.
