Dillon Day was signed as an Undrafted Free Agent after the 2015 NFL Draft.
You remember all of those things you just read about Ben Beckwith? They pretty much all apply to Dillon Day as well.
There was a little bit more expected out of Dillon Day. He was actually rated as a two star prospect coming out of high school, and he was on scholarship the entire time he played at Mississippi State.
But most didn’t expect those two players to help anchor an offensive line which was the cog that made Mississippi State’s offense so prolific in 2014. Despite the unprecedented production from the offensive line and huge numbers posted by the Bulldog offense in general, none of the three seniors who graduated (Day, Beckwith, and Clausell) were drafted. Looks like all three are going to have to continue to surprise people.
