In this day in age of changing uniforms and ultra-marketing, fans are expected to come to the game in the proper attire to color coordinate. So, here is your guide to what to wear to Mississippi State games this fall…
LSU: WEAR WHITE
This year’s LSU game will be a “white out”. Which brings up the question, will MSU force LSU to wear purple jerseys? MSU has done so twice in the past (2007, 2009). The Tigers are the only team in the SEC who wears white at home, therefore, any team may choose to wear white at home when hosting them, thereby forcing them to wear purple. They actually have played pretty poor in those jerseys in the past. But alas, it’s not going to happen…

Upper level: WEAR MAROON
Lower level: WEAR WHITE
I’m not a big fan of this one. For one, the game is in the middle of the afternoon and mid-September. It’s going to be unreal hot. Asking anyone to wear maroon is borderline cruel, especially when they are closer to the sun than the folks being asked to wear white.
Troy:
Upper level: WEAR WHITE
Lower level: WEAR MAROON
Louisiana Tech: Stripe Out.
What’s that you say? It’s exactly what it says – we are going to “stripe” the stadium. You may have seen this last year when Tennessee played Florida….

Well, now we’re going to do it. Here’s how it will work…
And, could this be some foreshadowing into jerseys MSU will wear (bottom right)?
Hopefully we won’t put on prison uniforms.
Kentucky: WEAR BLACK
Just thinking about it now, I’m not sure I own any black clothing.
Alabama: WEAR MAROON
Easy.

Ole Miss: WEAR MAROON
As it should be.
