2016 Starkville Super Regional Weather Forecast

Only two wins away from Omaha, the Bulldogs look to take down the Arizona Wildcats at Dudy Noble Field in a three-game series. With Mother Nature having a huge impact in the Regionals, will the same be said of this weekend?

After an exciting regional weekend that saw the Bulldogs win in sweeping fashion to advance to the 2016 Starkville Super Regional, what should we expect from Mother Nature? Well, definitely not rain for this weekend. Instead, we will be dealing with heat that will remind you of late July and early August. So be sure to pack the water and cooling pads for you and your friends as you head to Starkville.

More from Maroon and White Nation

With a starting time of 5:00 PM CDT for each day, many fans will be arriving at the hottest part of the day. This means preparation in the days prior to the game will be key for those attending. Just like a workout regimen before a game, you can’t just walk up into the stadium not hydrated and expect to last the entirety. Water and other fluids will be key for a weekend of heat like this.

Now to the forecast, which is the main focus of this. A high pressure system is going to be the main factor in our dry spell this weekend. That also means the sun will be bright and center during the day. For those of you on the third base line, you will enjoy that shade more than you think.
