Official 2016 SEC Baseball Tournament Weather Forecast
The 2016 SEC Baseball Tournament is finally here after a long and grueling regular season that saw the Mississippi State Bulldogs claim the regular season crown. As the #1 seed, Bulldog fans get a free day on Tuesday.
With this in mind, we are going to go ahead and look ahead to the forecast for the entire week. The SEC Baseball Tournament is always one of the biggest spectacles in college baseball. Some of the greatest talent in the country all converging on the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium to crown the champion of the Southeastern Conference.
The tournament bracket is available here on the SEC website. The second game of each session is usually played 30 minutes after the completion of the first game of the session. So while we can hope for a perfect schedule, I won’t be basing the forecast times on the games. A tournament of this size and magnitude will just have to receive a basic forecast on this.
So we will go Tuesday through Thursday for now, then I’ll do another forecast for the final 3 days (Friday through Sunday). That gives me a good period for accuracy. But I will provide a good preview into the weekend at the end of this forecast. All times will be Central Time, which is the local time for the Hoover Met.

Looking ahead
Looking at the weekend, we seem to avoid the threat of rain until Saturday and Sunday. Even then, the chances are low, and shouldn’t present a problem to the tournament as long as the chances remain low. Luckily, there are fewer games starting Friday, which means more play time with the start times. Temperatures will begin to lower a bit starting Friday, but it will still be a pretty hot weekend at the Hoover Met.
