The 2024 NFL Draft has officially come to a close, and the third day of the draft was a good one for Mississippi State football. While no Bulldogs were selected during the first two days of the draft, three MSU stars heard their names called on Saturday.

Which State players were drafted and where are they headed? Let's take a look...

Cornerback Decamerion Richardson drafted in 4th Round by Las Vegas Raiders

The first Bulldog selected in the 2024 NFL Draft was cornerback Decamerion Richardson. Richardson was taken by the Las Vegas Raiders with the 112th overall pick in the 4th Round. At 6'2", 188 with a 4.3 40-yard dash, Richardson is an athletic freak with ridiculously high upside. He's still raw as a player, but he could develop into a true #1 corner for the Raiders.

Defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy drafted in 6th Round by Carolina Panthers

The second Bulldog selected in the 2024 NFL Draft was defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy. Crumedy was taken by the Carolina Panthers with the 200th overall pick in the 6th Round. A versatile lineman that can both play run-stopper in the middle and rush off the edge, Crumedy should provide good depth to the Panther's DL and help them improve their lacking run defense.

Linebacker Nathaniel Watson drafted in 6th Round by Cleveland Browns

The third Bulldog selected in the 2024 NFL Draft was linebacker Nathaniel Watson. Watson was taken by the Cleveland Browns with the 206th overall pick in the 6th Round. Bookie Watson finished his MSU career as one of the greatest LBs in school history. Now he joins an elite defense in Cleveland and gets to reunite with former MSU teammate Martin Emerson.

Which Bulldogs could be undrafted free agents?

Of the Bulldogs not drafted, who could still end up signing with an NFL team? The most obvious candidates are WR/KR Tulu Griffin and LB Jett Johnson. Griffin is an explosive play-maker that could be a special teams superstar, and Johnson's collegiate production rivaled Bookie Watson's.

After that, OL like Kwatravious Johnson and Nick Jones, DT Nathan Pickering, and DB Marcus Banks could all potentially sign an UDFA deal. We'll keep up with all the UDFA signings that take place this evening.
