Mississippi State football preview: Bulldogs vs. Texas A&M Aggies

As the Bulldogs attempt to pull off this upset, Zach Arnett’s Mississippi State football team will need to limit mistakes and maximize red zone opportunities. If the Bulldogs can do that, then maybe they’ll have a real shot of shocking Bulldog football fans as well as the Texas A&M Aggies.

And this game is essentially MSU’s last shot at taking a step towards bowl eligibility for the Bulldogs. State, at 4-5 on the season, has this game against Texas A&M on the schedule in addition to facing Southern Miss next Saturday and then Ole Miss on Thanksgiving.

And as MSU is facing a team more talented than it (though one that is also underachieving just as the Bulldogs are), it’s critical that MSU doesn’t waste any possessions against A&M.
