Mississippi State football: 3 areas to improve vs. Western Michigan
By Ethan Lee
Mississippi State football can’t afford to commit turnovers left and right
Better ball security. It’s an absolute must for the Mississippi State football team as the Bulldogs try to move forward after their loss against the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Turnovers were a plague for the Bulldogs against Alabama Saturday evening. Will Rogers struggled to play clean, mistake-free football and he ended up tossing three interceptions that Alabama was more than thrilled to take off of his hands.
If the Bulldogs are going to get to bowl eligibility, that can’t keep happening.
Some of this isn’t totally on Rogers, such as was the case with a tipped ball that ended up with the Crimson Tide, but the Bulldogs can’t afford for things like this to happen:

Mississippi State needs its experienced quarterback to make better decisions that. Winning the turnover battle will give the Bulldogs a better chance to get some wins that are much needed at this point.
