How good is South Carolina quarterback Spencer Rattler? Should MSU football fans be concerned?

Evan Ertel: Spencer Rattler seems like he has been around college football for the last decade. Obviously, he has grown a lot since his time at Oklahoma, but how high is Rattler’s ceiling as a college QB, and as he looks toward April and the Draft?

Kevin Miller: Rattler has always been one of the most talented players in all of college football. However, it took until he arrived at South Carolina for him to mature into the leader and example he needed to be to be a big-time quarterback.

Now, in 2023, with a new offensive coordinator and some better decision-making, he looks like one of the SEC’s best.

Pro scouts are drooling over #7’s arm. The ones who believe in his mental and emotional development believe that he could be a first-rounder. I don’t think he will be drafted quite that high, but if he continues his strong play, he will be selected on Day 2 of the draft, potentially as a top-5 quarterback taken.
