No surprise here that Dak Prescott lands at the number one player of the Dan Mullen era. Dak was a game-changer for the Bulldogs and helped take the program to places it hadn’t seen in decades.

Prescott holds every significant passing record in Mississippi State history, as well as many school records for total offense – a total of 38 different school records. Prescott finished his career third in SEC history in total yards and fourth in total touchdowns. He was the brightest of the bright stars in an exciting time of Bulldogs football.

There is no way of overstating what Dak Prescott meant to the Mississippi State football program, and he’s gone on to some real success in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys.

There was no greater player during Dan Mullen’s time as head coach, and maybe no greater player in the history of the program.
