The Rebels don’t have anyone taller than 6-2 and that’ll leave the vulnerable against Teaira McCowan and the rest of MSU’s forwards.

So, with Promise Taylor being in Starkville now, the Rebels really don’t have anyone who can stand up against Teaira McCowan all that effectively. Few teams really do, but Ole Miss is certainly not one of those teams.

But it’s not just McCowan that Ole Miss will have to worry about. The Rebels will also need to keep an eye on some of the other forwards and centers on the Bulldogs’ roster.

Namely Jessika Carter.

Carter is a freshman this season, but she’s 6-foot-5 and is showing that she can be a force to be reckoned with. So far, Carter is only getting to play about 13.9 minutes per game, but she’s already the second best shot blocker on the roster with 26 blocks so far this season.

If this game becomes a blowout early on, expect Carter to get plenty of playing time.
