Mississippi State Football: 18 Thoughts on 2018 season

Like many Mississippi State football fans, I had a ton of thoughts about what the 2018 season might be for the Bulldogs. I was optimistic and thought that the Bulldogs would see more than plenty of wins ahead of them.

And, well, MSU won eight games this season and has a chance to win nine. All in all, that’s not too bad.

There were disappointing moments from this season, sure. Things didn’t go MSU’s way in every single game and the Bulldogs lost a few contests that they really should not have lost. By the time Mississippi State had everything together, it was late October turning into November.

There will be more thoughts about this season coming soon. There will be reflections and retrospective thoughts on how the Bulldogs played. But for now, here’s 18 thoughts on 2018 before the season even began.
