Joe Moorhead and Luke Getsy

More from Mississippi State Football

Joe Moorhead and Luke Getsy are responsible for the Bulldogs’ offense. While Moorhead is technically in charge of everything that happens with the Bulldogs, it seems like there’s an emphasis on his responsibility to keep the offense moving.

Moorhead and Getsy inherited an offense with a fifth year senior dual threat quarterback who has placed his name in the MSU and SEC record books. Nick Fitzgerald is an incredibly interesting weapon to have for Moorhead and Getsy. And yet, the offense has struggled to be consistent.

It’s great the the Bulldogs got back to their roots and ran the ball for over 300 yards against Auburn. That’s an incredible feat and State will need to run to be able to beat LSU this weekend. In fact, Moorhead must try to run the ball against the Tigers no matter what on Saturday.

Next. The Bulldogs must use their strengths against LSU.. dark

However, in this game, hopefully Moorhead and Getsy have plenty of tricks up their sleeves. The Bulldogs will need to be innovative and explosive on offense to take down the LSU Tigers. Hopefully these offensive masterminds have prepared a game plan that can produce just that.
