The biggest reason that many Mississippi State football fans believe caused the Bulldogs’ loss last week was the many mistakes and unforced errors from MSU. Mississippi State played recklessly and had several penalties that were mental mistakes, costing the Bulldogs a chance to beat the Kentucky Wildcats.
So far in the first half, Florida has been the team that has made more mistakes than Mississippi State.
The Bulldogs have a meager two penalties and a total of 15 penalty yards. Florida, on the other hand, has had a half dozen flags thrown for them and a total of 45 penalty yards to go with them.
In other words, the Florida Gators are making subtle, mental mistakes and the Mississippi State Bulldogs are playing solid football.
The Mississippi State football team will need to keep playing disciplined football in the second half to make sure that the Bulldogs win.
