Mississippi State’s defense is dominant and playing incredibly physical football so far

The Mississippi State defense has done a great job so far. Yes, Kentucky has scored a touchdown thanks to the legs of Benny Snell, but the Mississippi State Bulldogs are playing solid defense that is keeping the Bulldogs in this game.

MSU has held the Wildcats to a total of 133 yards in this game. There haven’t been any fumbles or picks for the Bulldogs, but MSU is doing well at the line of scrimmage to push back on Kentucky’s experienced offensive line and get to Kentucky’s Terry Wilson.

Benny Snell has 60 rushing yards and a touchdown, but he’s pretty much the extent of the Wildcats’ offense so far.
