What didn’t go so well for MSU?

While the Bulldogs ran the ball incredibly well on the road, the passing game took a solid step back here. The Mississippi State football team had overthrows, underthrows, and dropped passes seemingly left and right. Nick Fitzgerald threw for 154 yards and a pair of touchdowns, but he only completed 11 of 27 passes and also threw an interception.

But MSU isn’t done through the air! Yes, the Bulldogs struggled against Kansas State passing. That doesn’t mean that MSU is going to always be bad when it comes to generating yards by throwing. Justin Strawn breaks it down right here.

The Bulldogs can, and probably will, improve its passing attack. Fitz and MSU just need some time and patience.
