What went well for Mississippi State football?

This MSU running game is downright dangerous. The Bulldogs flat out dominated and ran all over Kansas State while on the road in Manhattan. Mississippi State gained 384 rushing yards and had a pair of touchdowns in the process. That’s insane! MSU, as a team, had 9.8 yards per carry against the Wildcats.

Kylin Hill and Nick Fitzgerald were the key rushers here. Hill had 211 yards on the ground and the two aforementioned touchdowns. Fitzgerald, in his first start back after injury and a brief suspension, ran for 159 yards on 8.4 yards per carry.

The Bulldogs can run and every opposing defense should expect the Bulldogs to run quite a bit.
