Five first half thoughts on Mississippi State football vs Kansas State
By Ethan Lee
MSU’s defensive front is very good and is starting to create more and more pressure on Kansas State’s offense
Through the first quarter, the Kansas State Wildcats were finding pretty effective ways of slowing down the Mississippi State Bulldogs’ dominant defensive front. Montez Sweat, Jeffery Simmons, and others were getting in and making their presence known, but there were few big plays in Kansas State’s backfield early on in the first half.
By the time halftime rolled around, it became clear that Mississippi State’s defensive front was gaining steam and momentum against Kansas State’s offensive line. The Bulldogs started getting tackles for loss and started moving Kansas State backwards.
MSU needs that to continue in the second half.
