Mississippi State was shorted when the refs overturned that fumble

That fumble shouldn’t have been overturned. That’s pretty clear. The Mississippi State football team got to one of Kansas State’s quarterbacks, Leo Lewis caused a fumble, and then Gerri Green recovered it.

That’s incredibly infuriating as it led to the Kansas State Wildcats getting a field goal in the first quarter and tying the game up at 3-3 at that time.

But looking at things a little bit closer, it shouldn’t have been overturned. That should have been Mississippi State’s ball and the Bulldogs would have had momentum moving forward against the Wildcats. But it was taken away from MSU. Doesn’t matter right now. The Bulldogs are up 17-3. Still, it’s a frustrating mistake to see on national tv.
