Aeris Williams will probably still be involved within the offense regularly and consistently
Mississippi State chose to go with Kylin Hill and that’s honestly a great decision. Not that Aeris Williams is bad (he’s actually really, really good), but Hill appears to be the more versatile and explosive running back between the two.
However, that doesn’t mean that this offense doesn’t have a place for Williams. In fact, it looks like Williams is going to be a regular contributor for the offense. Given that he’ll be splitting reps, Williams probably won’t get as many yards as he has previously, but he’s going to find his way on to the field and score.
And that’s exactly what he did in the first half with a receiving touchdown.
Those are five thoughts on the first half for the Mississippi State football team in their game against Stephen F. Austin. What did you think about the first half? How are the Bulldogs doing in your eyes?
