This Team Seemed To Truly Enjoy Playing And Competing At The Highest Level. That Energy Was Contagious For This Fanbase

The Mississippi State baseball team was counted out for most of the year by this fanbase. To the fanbase’s credit, this Mississippi State baseball team wasn’t playing anything that resembled good baseball for most of the early season and fell behind in SEC standings.

But, the Bulldogs came back and made a run at things throughout the second half of the season. Mississippi State made it all the way to Omaha and was one game shy of competing for a national championship.

Along the way, fans bought in and enjoyed the fun that this team was having.

From walk-off wins to rally bananas to surviving regionals that the Bulldogs probably shouldn’t have survived to just about any other crazy enjoyable thing that this team did. Mississippi State baseball was fun this year. It took it a while to become fun, but it did get there.
