Can Mississippi State Football Create A Winning Streak Over The LSU Tigers?

The Mississippi State Bulldogs had one great opportunity to start a winning streak against the LSU Tigers a few years ago. After the Bulldogs shocked the world and knocked LSU over in Death Valley back in 2014, MSU was set up with a chance to claim another win over the Tigers back in Starkville in 2015.

State ultimately fell short in 2015, losing on a missed field goal attempt. Since then, the Tigers beat Mississippi State in 2016 despite a furious comeback attempt and then the Bulldogs demolished LSU by 30 points in 2017.

Now, Mississippi State is given a golden opportunity to beat the Tigers again and start a winning streak that can be continued in the future.

MSU is coming into 2018 with a ton of potential and raised expectations. LSU is arriving into this year with questions all over the field, hopes that a transfer quarterback might save the offense, and Ed Orgeron as their head coach. If there were ever a year for the Bulldogs to beat LSU in Death Valley again, this is certainly it.
