How Should This Game Shake Out?

Does the Mississippi State football team have what it takes to take down the Kansas State Wildcats? This game, more than likely, won’t be easy for MSU to win. The last time a team from the SEC traveled up to take Kansas State on in Manhattan, the then 5th ranked Auburn Tigers barely escaped with a 20-14 win back in, well, 2014.

Kansas State is by no means afraid of what the Mississippi State Bulldogs are bringing to them this year.

But Mississippi State shouldn’t fear this road trip. This is a good opportunity for a developed team to prove how good they are. The Bulldogs feature a more talented roster with quicker and stronger athletes.

Joe Moorhead and the Bulldogs should win this game. It won’t be easy for them to actually do so. But that doesn’t mean that Mississippi State can’t, and shouldn’t win. The Bulldogs will need to be careful and limit their mistakes and turnovers. But, still, they should come out of Manhattan, Kansas with a win.
