Kentucky’s Offense Appears Notably Better Than Mississippi State’s

Right now, it looks like the Wildcats have more power at the plate than the Bulldogs. As a whole, Kentucky’s team is hitting well through the year. Their team batting average is .297 and they’re slugging .498 through their 48 games so far this season.

On top of that, the Wildcats have hit a grand total of 72 home runs this year. That’s good for second most in the entire southeastern conference.

Mississippi State, on the other hand, has not packed much of a punch at the plate for most of the year. The Bulldogs are hitting .272 this year but are only slugging with a percentage of .391 this season.

Oh, and MSU has the fewest home runs in the conference with 26.
