Slot Receiver

Keith Mixon and Malik Dear are both on their way back from being sidelined due to injuries. Getting these two back as soon as possible will be a huge help for the Bulldogs in 2018. Both are dynamic and could provide huge sparks for the offense once they enter the open field.

Plus, having a couple of deep threat receivers will allow for Mississippi State to target this duo more reliably. Opposing defenses will have to account for receivers like Stephen Guidry, Devonta Jason, and Austin Williams, allowing slot receivers like Mixon and Dear to get open.

It should be noted that Deddrick Thomas is back too. His experience and development will help make this a solid and deep position for MSU this season.
