Keep An Eye On These South Carolina Players

South Carolina features a pretty talented roster that has them competing amongst the Southeastern Conference’s best teams. So, it’s important to keep an eye on some of these players this weekend.

  • Alyssa VanderVeer- Any player with 11 home runs on the season should catch your attention. The Bulldogs will need to be careful when it comes to pitching to VanderVeer.
  • Cayla Drotar- Drotar holds a 1.91 ERA ant currently boasts a 17-4 win-loss record. That’ll be difficult for MSU’s batters to try and go up against.
    • Oh, hey, continue to watch out for Drotar when she bats too. This season, Drotar has a .299 batting average and 8 home runs. She can literally do just about anything that South Carolina will need her to.
  • Alyssa Kumiyama- Kumiyama doesn’t have the best batting average as she’s hitting .256, but she also has 8 homers this season.
