Special Teams Shouldn’t Be Much Of An Issue At All For The Bulldogs
Hopefully, Mississippi State football has ironed out everything on its special teams for 2018. As we all know, special teams have been a bit of an issue at times for MSU with Dan Mullen. But, in the final year of his tenure at MSU, Mullen found a diamond in the rough in Jace Christmann at kicker.
But, beyond just kicker, Mississippi State will need to replace Logan Cooke at punter. Cooke has exhausted his eligibility and isn’t going to be able to play football for Mississippi State any longer. However, with Joe Moorhead working several punters and kickers around at the spring game, it’s possible he knows who he wants to start there this upcoming season.
