Mississippi State Softball Preparing To Even Series With Florida

Mississippi State softball had a rough go with Florida last night. The Bulldogs actually scored three runs on the Gators off of two home runs, but, well, Florida is really good at softball. And, as such, Mississippi State is now fighting to try and even the series.

The Bulldogs are a good team, but Florida has been steamrolling opponents all season. The Gators are a tough team for anyone to try and beat. Right now, they’re trying to gear up for a run at the national title.

Still, Mississippi State doesn’t want to fall like this. The Bulldogs have a chance to tie things up in game one of their doubleheader. And, should they do that, they’ll be in a position to claim the series after that.

Mississippi State will battle Florida today. Whether or not the Bulldogs come out on top, I don’t know. I have a hard time predicting Mississippi State to win.

However, MSU has surprised me before. And this team is a pretty good one this year. They’re a talented bunch that is definitely looking to make a name for themselves nationally. They’ll have a chance to do that today. But, it’ll take a victory or two over the Gators to actually do that.
