Mississippi State Football Announced That It Set A New Maroon And White Game Attendance Record
The Joe Moorhead era of Mississippi State football has started out with setting records. Coach Moorhead had been asking for fans to come out in record numbers to the annual Maroon and White game. As it turns out, the fans turned out. And, well, it was in a new record number for the Bulldogs.
According to the Mississippi State football twitter account, the Mississippi State Bulldogs now have a new record. The MSU football twitter account tweeted out the the Bulldogs had 36,789 fans show up to the game today.
That new number moved past the old record of 36,357 with relative ease.
And this is on a Super Bulldog Weekend that didn’t have the help of a Mississippi State baseball team with high expectations. That said, fans still showed up there and the Mississippi State baseball team did more than they were expected to on the diamond.
But, back on topic for a second.

This is a solid number for Mississippi State fans to show up with. Spring games typically don’t hold a lot of weight. For the fans of the Bulldogs to arrive in the numbers that they did today, it shows dedication to a new coach and a new era for Mississippi State football. It also shows that Mississippi State fans are ready to win at the highest level. MSU fans want the “championship standard” that Joe Moorhead has been preaching about to be established as soon as possible.
