Mississippi State Baseball Looking For Wins Against Arkansas

Mississippi State baseball lost to Memphis. That’s not good at all. The Bulldogs are in a full on tail spin and, well, there’s still a decent chunk of the season left. That’s also not good at all. Mississippi State absolutely NEEDS to avoid getting swept by the Razorbacks.

If at all possible, Mississippi State needs to find a way to beat the Razorbacks twice. Who knows if that’s even possible given how good the Razorbacks pitchers are though. Gary Henderson has his work cut out for him and his team this weekend.

Mississippi State baseball won’t get anything easy this weekend. The Arkansas Razorbacks are one of the best teams in the nation and they’ve witnessed Mississippi State upsetting a top 5 team before. Arkansas will do everything in its power to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

On top of that, the Bulldogs don’t have the momentum that they did earlier this month. Mississippi State struggled at Auburn and then fell apart on the road at Memphis. The Bulldogs could have won three games in that stretch. Instead they only came away with one. This weekend will be a difficult one for Mississippi State. Given that it’s Super Bulldog Weekend, it was supposed to be the highlight of the spring. It may not be for the Mississippi State baseball team.
