Mississippi State Softball To Battle Ole Miss With Chance To Sweep Rebels

Mississippi State softball has already clinched their series with the Rebels. Yesterday, the Bulldogs beat Ole Miss twice. Now, the MSU softball team is set up for a chance to sweep Ole Miss in Oxford.

The Bulldogs could always use another win in the Southeastern Conference. The victory would help their RPI slightly while also giving them potentially better seeding in the SEC Tournament. And given how rough it is to play in the SEC, it’s better to get as many wins as possible against inferior opponents.
