Mississippi State landed one of the premier quarterbacks across all the nation Tuesday evening. What were the reactions to the Bulldogs landing another 4-star QB?

Jalen Mayden finally made it official.

The Sachse High School signal caller has been Mississippi State’s top priority at the quarterback position for quite sometime now. He finally gave his commitment to Dan Mullen and the coaching staff during his school’s spring game on Tuesday.

This is a huge get for the Bulldogs.

In a two minute video featuring some of his highlight film and his five finalists, Mayden said he committed to the Bulldogs for the “family atmosphere” and Dan Mullen’s track record with quarterbacks.

"“What I like about Mississippi State is that it’s a great family atmosphere. I like what the coaches are bringing to the table and what Dan Mullen does with his quarterbacks. You know, they say the quarterback for Mississippi State is like the mayor of the city, almost. So, I like it, and it’s a small little college town. I feel like this is the best conference, there is no football like the SEC.Go Dawgs!"
