May the Fourth: Arkansas is Jabba the Hut

Jaba the Hut is one of the most memorable characters from Star Wars. It’s not for any good reasons, mind you, but he is still memorable. He is a giant slug that actually moves around in Episode 1, thanks to the powers of CGI, but a slow moving, antiquated tyrant who tries to impose his will on others. A little creativity and ingenuity from Luke, Leia, and Han brought Jaba and his empire to its knees in Episode 6.

The keys to the Arkansas football team were turned over to Bret Bielema in 2013. Bret took a sleek high powered team that Bobby Petrino fine tuned before being so disgracefully discarded and turnedit into the antiquated offenses of the Big Ten. It was an ugly display of football, and while they made a little noise at the beginning of the year, they finished the season with 9 straight losses.

Can the Razorbacks take the next step, or will they continue to be held back just like Jaba was when Leia choked the life out of him in Episode VI?
