May the Fourth: Alabama is Emperor Palpatine

Emperor Palpatine is an evil genius. He uses his mastery of the force and his skills of manipulation to take down the fragile Republic. He has an army of clones that will do his every bidding. He is the character that all of us love to hate. Though we may hate him, it doesn’t take away from how successful he is.

Nick Saban spent the 2013 offseason trying to convince everyone that we needed a 10 second rule for “player safety”. He is the Van Gogh of subtle manipulation, just like Emperor Palpatine. And just like Emperor Palpatine, his time at the top might be running out. But he won’t go down without a fight! Saban just reasserted his dominance of college football with yet another national championship in 2015.
